SUMMIT TWP., MI — Robinson Road between Kibby and Spring Arbor roads is closing Monday as Jackson County Department of Transportation crews resurface the road.

Hot-mix asphalt and a 1-foot paved shoulder is being added, JCDOT said.

The project will last several weeks.

JCDOT encourages motorists to follow the posted detour routes.

The project costs $469,000, but $375,000 comes from grant funding, JCDOT said.

Robinson Road was closed for much of last summer between McCain Road and W. Michigan Avenue for similar improvements.
