ANN ARBOR, MI – Construction on roundabouts is starting at U.S. 23 entrance ramps north of Ann Arbor.

Here’s a roundup of the latest U.S. 23 “Flex Route” construction updates from the Michigan Department of Transportation:

U.S. 23

A single-lane closure starts on the evening of Friday, June 2 and continues through early Monday on each direction of U.S. 23.

On the southbound side, the closure is 8 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday from M-36 to North Territorial Road in Northfield Township.

The northbound closure is from 9 p.m. Friday through 7 a.m. Monday from North Territorial to Eight Mile Road.

MDOT advises drivers to watch for slow traffic.

Whitmore Lake Road at U.S. 23

On June 7, Whitmore Lake Road will close at Eight Mile Road for construction. The road will reopen June 13.

MDOT will post a detour when the road closes.
