MONROE COUNTY, Mich. (WTVG) – Drivers headed north on I-75 this weekend may want to think about finding another route. The Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) will be doing concrete pavement patching on the highway.

Crews will be working in the center lane of northbound I-75 between Elm Street (Exit 14) and Dixie Highway (Exit 15.

There will be a single lane closure starting at 9:00am on Friday, August 18, until 3:00am on Saturday, August 19.

A double lane closure will then begin at 3:00am on Saturday and continue until 6:00pm on Sunday, August 20.

Drivers are advised to plan extra time when traveling through the area this weekend and to watch for traffic slow downs.
