3 more beaches have closed due to contamination in Bay County.
According to the Bay County Health Department South Linwood Beach, Brissette Beach, and Pinconning Park in Bay County all produced water samples with high contaminant levels.
Samples collected Wednesday have exceeded the State of Michigan’s water quality standard for full body contact recreational activities.
Closures will be lifted when bacteria levels meet the State of Michigan’s water quality standards.
