Another round of road construction is coming to Livonia.

Construction along Farmington Road between Seven Mile and Eight Mile is scheduled to begin Monday, according to Wayne County, who is responsible for that stretch of roadway. Work will include road resurfacing, concrete pavement repairs, bridge epoxy overlay, as well as work along sidewalk ramps, guardrails, pavement markings and new signage.

One lane of traffic on both sides of the five-lane road will be maintained throughout the length of the project, which is expected to last until October.

Access to side streets along the mile stretch of road will be maintained in both ways, and driveways to businesses will be maintained throughout the project. Traffic may need to be flagged and shifted during some of the construction.

Orange barrels appeared along the road Thursday.
